This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of services provided by Netcen Teknoloji Limited Şirketi (“Netcen”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
This policy applies to all customers using Netcen infrastructure services including:
- Data center infrastructure services
- Server colocation
- Dedicated servers
- Virtual private servers (VPS/VDS)
- Shared hosting services
- Email hosting services
- Domain name related services
By using Netcen services, customers agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy.
- GENERAL USE
Customers may use Netcen services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Customers are responsible for all activities conducted using their services, including the activities of their users, customers, or third parties accessing their systems.
- PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
The following activities are strictly prohibited on Netcen infrastructure.
Illegal Activities
Customers may not use Netcen services to:
- violate any applicable law or regulation
- distribute illegal content
- promote illegal activities
Spam and Unsolicited Messaging
Customers may not use Netcen infrastructure to send:
- unsolicited bulk email (spam)
- mass messaging campaigns without recipient consent
- email bombing
- unsolicited marketing messages
Phishing and Fraud
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- phishing websites
- impersonation of other organizations
- identity theft
- financial scams
- deceptive websites designed to collect sensitive information
Network Abuse
Customers may not:
- perform network scanning without authorization
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
- exploit vulnerabilities in other systems
- conduct brute-force attacks
DDoS and Traffic Abuse
The following activities are prohibited:
- distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks
- traffic flooding
- amplification attacks
- operating DDoS-for-hire services
Malware and Botnets
Customers may not host or distribute:
- malware
- trojans
- ransomware
- spyware
- botnet command and control servers
- RESOURCE ABUSE
Customers may not use Netcen infrastructure in ways that negatively impact network stability or other customers.
Examples include:
- excessive CPU or memory abuse on shared environments
- network flooding
- abnormal traffic generation
- activities degrading overall service performance
- COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Customers may not host or distribute content that infringes intellectual property rights including:
- pirated software
- unauthorized media distribution
- copyrighted material without permission
Netcen may remove infringing content upon receipt of valid copyright complaints.
- SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their systems including:
- securing operating systems
- applying security updates
- protecting login credentials
- monitoring their own infrastructure
Netcen is not responsible for security vulnerabilities within customer-managed systems.
- ABUSE REPORTING
Netcen maintains abuse monitoring systems and may investigate complaints related to:
- spam
- phishing
- malware
- copyright violations
- network abuse
Reports may be submitted to:
- ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS
If a violation of this Acceptable Use Policy is detected, Netcen may take one or more of the following actions:
- issue a warning
- temporarily suspend services
- restrict network access
- remove abusive content
- terminate services
- cooperate with law enforcement authorities
Netcen reserves the right to act immediately when necessary to protect infrastructure integrity or prevent harm.
- CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Customers are responsible for the activities of:
- their employees
- their end users
- their hosted clients
- any third party accessing their systems
Customers must ensure their users comply with this policy.
- INFRASTRUCTURE PROVIDER LIMITATION
For infrastructure services such as dedicated servers and colocation, Netcen does not control or monitor customer data stored within customer-managed systems.
However, Netcen reserves the right to intervene where necessary to:
- maintain network stability
- respond to abuse complaints
- comply with legal requirements
- POLICY CHANGES
Netcen may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the latest version published on our website.
